Daigoji is surrrounded by the deep forest. The forest is more than 300 hectare. There are a lot of huge trees. Among conifers, e.g., cedars, cypresses, and pine trees, there are huge trees of pasanias, several oaks, and camellias. Many birds dwell here, too.
